• Password: Optional - you can use passwordless login or add a password later
• Profile preferences: Settings and customizations you choose
• Trading simulation data: Your simulated trades, performance history, and interactions within our platform

Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage analytics: We use PostHog to collect data about how you use our service, including page views, feature usage, and performance metrics
• Technical information: Device type, browser information, IP address, and similar technical data

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our market simulation service
• Manage your account and authenticate your identity
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, etc.) via Resend
• Analyze usage patterns to improve our platform
• Provide customer support

We do not send marketing emails or promotional communications.

Cookies & Error Monitoring

Essential cookies (always active): We use cookies for authentication (Supabase session). These are required for the service to function and do not require consent.

Analytics & error tracking (requires consent): With your consent, we use PostHog for usage analytics and Sentry for error tracking on the client side. No analytics or error data is collected on the client until you accept cookies via the consent banner.

Server-side error monitoring (legitimate interest): We collect server-side error data (stack traces, request metadata, response status codes) to maintain service reliability and diagnose outages. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the platform operational and does not involve client-side cookies. Server-side error data does not include your email address, simulation data, or other personal content — only technical request context and error details.

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing (they handle your payment information according to their privacy policy)
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• PostHog: Analytics and performance monitoring (with consent)
• Sentry: Error tracking and performance monitoring (client-side with consent; server-side under legitimate interest)
• Vercel: Web hosting and content delivery
• Supabase: Database and authentication services

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We only share data:

• With the third-party services listed above to operate our platform
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights
• In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, etc.)

Data Retention

We keep your account information and trading simulation data until:

• You delete your account, or
• You request deletion of your data
